Hi there, I’m Flo and I’m the Marketing Manager at Thought Quarter.

Marketing Manager might not be the first role that springs to your mind when you think of technology, but as an in-house marketeer for an incredible, ambitious tech agency, I’ve nestled myself right into the space.

So now that’s cleared up, here’s a little bit about me:

1. I’m a bit of a data geek. I love analysing data and using it to paint a picture (metaphorically of course). I truly believe that without data, and the skills to use it correctly, you can’t roll out an efficient marketing strategy.

2. I’m actually from Yorkshire (imposter strike 2, I know). I moved down to Cornwall almost a decade ago, after a brief stint in Southampton where I gained a first class degree in Marketing with Event Management. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else now and have a rule that I have to live within 15 minutes walk to the sea.

3. Values are hugely important to me. At Thought Quarter, we have a “tech for a better world” approach, which means we work with organisations that achieve truly incredible things and are built upon great values. For me, it’s essential that there’s a purpose in everything we do.

4. Outside of work you’ll likely find me in one of two places: On the coast path or in the sea. I adore the Cornish countryside and spend every possible moment adventuring. That is, of course, when I’m not leading Mousehole AFC Women out on the football pitch – #GirlsPlayToo.

5. I’m passionate about inspiring the next generation of women and truly believe it’s our responsibility to support them in achieving their goals. Sometimes, all it takes is a conversation and we should all make time for that.

So, although this isn’t the most professional of profiles, I hope that gives you a brief insight into who am I that spans further than my career and experience.

If I can help with anything, feel free to send me a message.
