I teach computing across the T levels and our Higher Education computing programmes at Truro and Penwith College. I am also passionate about creating innovative curriculums that meet industry needs (such as our new Software Engineering degree) and inspiring more girls and women to pursue careers in tech.
I focus on creating curriculums that are not only up-to-date with the latest industry trends but also cater to the diverse needs and interests of our learners. I believe that computing should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their gender, background, or previous experience, and I am committed to promoting gender diversity in tech.
I actively encourage girls and women to pursue careers in computing, I am also the co-founder of the DigitalUPLIFT programme; a collaboration between Truro and Penwith, and TECWomen which provides training, mentoring and support to women who are interested in careers in the tech sector.
